Bullet Journal as Wedding Gift

Hi Inspiring people,

The moment when your bestie will get married to foreign, and she said she would move to his husband's country. And you will start to think about a unique wedding gift to your friend. Leave your mind about buying them household appliances cause they will not bring it aboard. Couple shirt? Nah.. it's okay, but I need something more memorable. And then me and my friends thinking to make bullet journal unique about her.

Lately, I'm learning about modern calligraphy, well I think I'm still a newbie in this world. But, I love personalised things haha. And I think my bestie will cry if she gets her personalised bullet journal mostly this bullet journal is self-made from her bestie.

At first, I want to create a bullet journal by digital. There are so many art apps for phone lately, and I think I can use that app. But 1 month before the D-Day, me and my friends is super duper busy. That's the most active month ever, and I can't start to create the design. And then 1 week before the wedding, I didn't have any schedule. So I begin to make it manually, not by digital. Why? Because I think it'll be more authentic if I create it manually.

I dreamed of creating more special page in this bullet journal, but I will not get enough sleep if I do that. Because I only have a few days to develop that. In the end, I only create a page about a month; few pages about how my bestie meet her husband; family and friend phone number; and page about our message to her.

Phew, finally, this bullet journal did the day before the wedding day. Then I write my bestie name in the goodie bag to make it moreee authentic.

I went back to the hotel from the wedding venue with my bestie. My bestie almost cries when she read the bullet journal. I wonder if I have more time to create that, I think the result will be much much better than this. But I love the result because I only make it in 7 days, only haha.

Moral of the story: You don't have to buy a fancy and expensive wedding gift for your friends. But you can give her something that she needs or personalised things. Then your gift will be the best wedding gift ever for them.
